BIOBIB - nomenclature of biofuel names

Each entry of the list consists of two rows. The first row shows the English name of the biofuel, the second the botanical name.

English name: consists of up to four parts, according to the amount of available information.

part one: species e.g. fir
part two: fuel e.g. balsam fir
part three: comment e.g. America
part four: part e.g. bark

The first part is separated from the second one by a comma, the second from the third by a semicolon and the third from the fourth by a slash. The following combinations of part one to four are possible.

1, 2; 3 /4 e.g. fir, balsam fir; America /bark
1, 2 /4 e.g. fir, balsam fir /bark
1 /4 e.g. fir /bark
1, 2; 3 e.g. fir, balsam fir; America

1 e.g. fir

If there is no botanical name for the fuel e.g. waste, only the English name would be listed and therefore the second row is missing.
